Parental Transition & Career Coaching

1:1 and small-group coaching that supports employees through matrescence, parental leave, return to work and other significant career and life transitions.

Coaching provides dedicated, confidential space for employees to make sense of changing priorities, identity and ambition while making practical decisions about their careers, capacity and support.

Who Is This For?

Coaching can support employees through:

• Pregnancy and preparation for parental leave
• Maternity or parental leave
• Returning to work after parental leave
• The early years of parenthood
• Career or leadership transitions alongside significant changes in life outside work

Who I Partner With:

I work with HR and People teams, Women's Networks, working-parent ERGs and leaders to integrate coaching into existing parental leave, return-to-work, talent development and women's leadership programs.

How Coaching Works:

Coaching can be offered on a 1:1 or small-group basis and tailored to the needs of your organization and employees.

Programs can support employees at different stages, including preparing for parental leave, returning to work, adjusting to working parenthood, or moving through other significant career and life transitions.

The format, duration and areas of focus are agreed with the organization based on the needs of the participants and the objectives of the program. Sessions can be delivered in person in Hong Kong or online for teams and employees globally.

What Participants Walk Away With

A woman with long hair and earrings is engaged in a conversation with another person during an interview or meeting, sitting at a small round table near a window.
  • A clearer understanding of how parenthood may be reshaping their identity, priorities, ambition and career decisions

  • Practical approaches for managing return to work, boundaries, support, capacity and mental load

  • Greater confidence making career decisions without being driven primarily by guilt, pressure or expectations

  • Language and tools to make sense of the changes they are experiencing and identify the support they need

How This Supports Your People Strategy

Two people wearing white uniforms sitting across from each other at a table, smiling and looking at each other, with shelves of books or files in the background.
  • Offers targeted support at a common point of disengagement or attrition

  • Complements parental leave, return-to-work, and women’s leadership programs

  • Gives employees a confidential space that HR and managers may not be able to provide

  • Supports female talent through a major life transition before challenges contribute to disengagement, attrition or stalled career progression

  • Individual coaching conversations remain confidential between coach and participant, creating space for employees to speak openly about their experiences and decisions. Organizational objectives and program parameters can be agreed in advance without sharing the content of individual coaching conversations.
