About
I didn’t start this work as a coach. I started by working inside environments where performance was expected, change was the only constant, and there was often little room to pause. That is the life of corporate tech.
I grew up in Canada as the eldest child in a first-generation Chinese immigrant family, shaped early by responsibility and achievement. That foundation carried into my career. After graduating from McGill, I moved to Hong Kong in 2007 and spent almost two decades working for start-ups and global technology companies including Google, Apple, and LinkedIn.
On paper, these were high-performing environments. In reality, they were also spaces where my identity was constantly being stretched, across roles, cultures, expectations, and stages of life. I saw how often people were expected to adapt quickly, perform consistently, and lead through change without the space or structure to process what was actually shifting underneath.
Becoming a mother forced me sharpen my focus because everything internally changed when I became a mother from how I viewed time, to my priorities, to my capacity and my identity but the external expectations were the same.
The gap between what is expected and what is actually experienced in our day-to-day lives, is where my work sits.
I believe that people are naturally creative, resourceful and whole. What’s often missing is clarity, space to think, and a way to make sense of what is changing so they can move forward with agency and with tools that will help them live sustainably no matter what the circumstances are in their lives.
Based in Hong Kong, I work with individuals and organizations navigating these moments of transition across APAC and internationally. My clients are often operating at a high level, but are at a point where continuing in the same way no longer feels sustainable or aligned.
As a certified coach, certified pilates instructor, and facilitator, my approach brings together structure and reflection, strategy and embodiment. The work is both practical and personal, helping people not only understand what needs to change, but how to implement it in a way that is realistic within their lives.
